YOUR HOME FOR MODELING TIPS

Tip 1: This tip comes from Larry Smith. If you own a Park Zone T-28 you may find if you have to replace the motor mount that the new mount may break when you first apply throttle. I have replaced two of these mounts in a row without the plane ever leaving the ground. I can not explain why the mounts fail, but it will rip the mount to pieces in seconds. My solution to this problem was to design my own mount out of plywood. I have included three pictures of the finished mount. If you want addition information on my fix, give me a call.
