Last years fly-in as a great success, the sky was filled with all types of model aircraft. There were many models on display and we had vendors on the field. Pilots and folks interested in becoming a part of the hobby kept the vendors busy answering questions and selling models, radio systems, as well as all the support equipment one would need.

Clubs from all over the state as well as clubs from Ohio attended last year, we look for them to be back this year. The fly-in is open to all types of models, if it flies bring it.

We will be holding training seminars for persons interested in learning how to become a part of the hobby. We will also have flight simulators set up and well as formal training to cover all phases of the hobby. Newcomers will have an opportunity to fly our training aircraft around 4pm till dark. If you ever wanted to try to fly a RC plane, this is your opportunity, we will have certified club flight instructors to introduce you to flight.

For those interested in joining the club, we will have information and AMA membership applications on site.

We will be working weekly to develop the fly-in details, so check back often or call Larry Smith ( President ) at 304-485-5965 or cell: 304-483-1772. Larry can be emailed at lar_@yahoo.com. Information is also available by contacting Frank Purcell ( Vice-President ) 740-667-3733.
