BARCC will be holding a FALL FUN FLY beginning September 24th and running through the entire weekend. ALL CLUBS are invited. This event will not be SANCTIONED..... Just plan to come and spend part or all of the weekend at one of OHIO's nicest flying sites. The club will have hot dogs, drinks,etc available. This is a laid back, just have fun event, night flying if offered if you have planes equipped. Come join the fun.........

Election time will soon be here, time to start thinking about nominating your favorites for 2011. Nominations are now open, you can write your nominations on a sheet and get it to one of the current officers. I will be excepting nominations till the September Business meeting. After this meeting, I will appoint three members to a special nomination committee, these three will select two nominees for each office. Ballots will be prepared from these nominees, the ballots will be mailed to each member, you can also pick up ballots at the club trailer. Voting will take place at the October Business Meeting. I will announce the winners at this meeting. New officers will take office at the November Business meeting.

Activity at the field this year has been the lowest I have seen in the history of the club. Over the past few years, activity has continued to decrease, I am not sure why this it, but i am concerned. I have been asking several members to think about this condition and offer suggestions to turn this around. No one has any answers at this time and I for one can't answer this myself, so if any of you has an idea, lets us know.

Well, times up for this installment, enjoy whatever you get into and I hope to see you at the field soon. Remember, Altitude and Wind are OUR FRIENDS.............
