NOTICE

Guys,

Special Notice to all Members:  Due to latest developments after several discussions with Bob Brown, District III Vice-President, we are canceling the TAG event which was slated for May 15th. I will be posting the detailed explanation for this action which a vote was taken at last Saturday's Business Meeting. We approved to schedule a one day Fly-In on June 5, 2010, the TAG Program will be a part of this day's activities. I have not worked out all the details at this time, but they will be forth-coming. In brief, the TAG Program structure as far a monies are concerned does not work.......

I am planning August 28, 2010 for our fall Fly-In ( A HISTORY OF FLIGHT ). This will be our second ( A HISTORY OF FLIGHT ) event, I am planning on this date being locked in each year for this event, so mark your calendars.

We will soon be starting work on the trailer,, we are going to install cabinets and counter-top in the back of the trailer as a workshop. I will be asking soon for helpers to get this project completed.

Starting in April, all club meetings will be held at the field. During the winter we have been holding Board and Committee Meetings at Hardee's.

I made a visit to ED's RC last Saturday and discussed with Ed the story going around that he was going out of business, this is not true, he will be moving the store to the old Montgomery Wards building behind the current location. He stated that business has been slow and that his inventory is smaller currently, but hopes to grow it soon.

I received from AMA this week the Club's 2010 Gold Leader Award Certificate which is nicely framed along with a brass plate. I also received Gold Leader Award Pins which I will give out to the membership as I see each of you at the field or a meeting.
