Membership continues to increase, the past Saturday we gained two more new members. Since most of the membership did not attend the Business Meeting, the election of 2011 officers took place. Officers will remain the same for 2011 as they were for 2010. Dave Baker was added to the Board.

November 13th will be BARCC's Annual Turkey Shoot-Out. This will be a bring a cover dish, soups and chilli's are welcome. The club will supply some kind of meat product, drinks and coffee. We will meet at the field around 9Am and go for it. We will have contest activities planned, so bring your fun-flys and others to be apart of the activities. More to follow......

Please mail you Christmas Party slips into Joe as soon as possible, cut off is November 13th.

Frank Purcell has resigned as Vice President. If you are interested in serving as Vice President, please contact me as soon as possible.

In light of past participation of Board Meetings, I am canceling all future Broad Meeting till further notice.

If you can, please try to attend November 6th business meeting. Joe Kaupan or Steve Wigal will conduct the meeting, the Christmas Party as well as other updates will be shared. The Turkey Shoot-Out will also be discussed. Please bring a cover dish, soup, chilli, etc. The Club will supply a ham, buns, sodas. A fun contest will take place if an one is interested, so bring your planes. We would like to know approx the number of you coming, so we can judge the food. You can let Joe or Steve know at the meeting or just call, email me.

There will be no activities planned for the months of February, April.......... Only the Business Meeting the first Saturday of these months.

You will be receiving a Newsletter in the future.... All information will be included. This will keep all you informed and cut down on Broad Meeting as well as inform the members who don't attend the monthly Business Meetings.

We have a few new possible members to join, which is great.

In the Spring, I will review the projected activity level for 2011. Activity was very light this year and if this an indicator for 2011, we will reduce maintence costs. Past activity levels don't support the expenses. More on this topic at a later time.

Well, times up for this installment, enjoy whatever you get into and I hope to see you at the field soon. Remember, Altitude and Wind are OUR FRIENDS.............

Check the Club calendar for upcoming fly-ins.
